At Cascadia Eye Care the doctor prescribes and fits the latest technology contact lenses. We have available a large variety of the safest, most breathable lenses on the market today. These include: daily wear disposable, extended wear disposable and gas permeable rigid contact lenses.

We also have custom designed WAVE Contact Lenses which include Single Vision, Astigmatism, Keratoconus, Post Refractive Surgery and Corneal Molding (orthokeratology). WAVE corneal molding contact lenses are specially fit lenses worn only night while sleeping. These lenses gently reshape the surfact of the eye allowing the patient to see clearly. In most cases the need to wear contact lenses or glasses during the day is eliminated. This is a non-surgical option to vision correction.

Our doctor also fits the new Synergeyes Contact Lenses. Synergeyes is a new hybrid of a soft and rigid contact lens with a breathable rigid center providing excellent optics and a soft surrounding skirt that enhances comfort and lens stability. It gives the clarity of a rigid contact lens with most of the advantages of a soft contact lens.

At Cascadia Eye Care you will receive the best possible care when you have a contact lens fitting and yearly evaluation. Our doctor stays abreast of the latest in contact lens technology assuring that you will receive the product that is best suited to you, your life style and your vision needs.

Due to the fact that contact lenses are a medical device, and can significantly increase the risk of eye disease, contact lens patients are required to have a yearly eye health examination and contact lens evaluation in order to obtain a current prescription. Contact lens prescriptions normally expire at one year. Even if you feel that your prescription hasn't changed over the course of the past year, this exam is mandatory to help detect eye health problems with contact lenses that can develop without any symptoms causing serious eye health issues.
